Rebooting Resilience Falkirk and Moffat event

  • Wednesday, 28th February, time 9.30 arrival for coffee with a 10 - 3 working day.

  • Falkirk Council, Place Services 8-10 Inchyra Road, Grangemouth FK3 9XB (see directions below)

SCDC have been working with communities and organisations in Falkirk and Moffat on the “Rebooting Resilience” project to explore what helps communities to build resilience.

Are you already involved in local community groups, or interested in learning how to make your community more resilient? You may be a member of your local community council, a development trust or a community group who have previously been involved in a response, or you might be new to this and wish to learn more.

This shared learning day will have some practical exercises to help you think about what you could do, to hear about some great things happening across both Falkirk and Moffat, as well as to think about what is needed to help communities be strong and vibrant as we all face the challenges relating to weather, unplanned events and responses to other issues in our communities.

There will be lots of time to make new connections and to share what matters most to you.

We do understand that 10am – 3pm is a long day, but we hope you will be able to join us for the whole day. Lunch will be provided for all attendees so please do let us know if you have any dietary or support requirements to enable your participation.
