Effective Community Engagement in the Park - Events
/Have your say about the future of engagement in the Park and how you can be involved in the issues important to you.
Cairngorms National Park Authority (CNPA) are exploring what effective community engagement in the Park might look like, and how communities can be involved.
As part of the Heritage Horizons 2030 Programme, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NHLF), Scottish Community Development Centre (SCDC) has been commissioned to explore effective community engagement in the park. These discussions will help CNPA develop robust and creative approaches to community engagement which will ensure that all local communities are able to engage with and contribute to the operation of CNPA at both park wide and local level.
You're invited to an informal event where you can share your ideas about how CNPA's community engagement has been in the past, and what it could look like in the future. Any views shared at these events will be collated, anonymised and shared with CNPA and NHLF in a way so they are not attributable to any individual. They will inform our review of CNPA engagements and help us to develop models of future community engagement that are responsive to the views of the people who live and work in the Park.
These events will be taking place throughout the park on the following dates and at the following locations:
