Sarah Boath
/Head of Programme
Sarah has over 20 years of community development experience working for local authorities and in the third sector through involvement in frontline delivery, management, policy and strategic development. Sarah has had lead roles in the development and strategic and operational implementation of policy initiatives, fundraising and budget management, multi-agency partnerships and organisational development strategies.
Sarah has particular interest and experience in developing and implementing accreditation opportunities and the contribution of community-based adult learning within community development practice, effective monitoring and evaluation systems for community work practice and leadership and development of collaborative multi-agency partnerships.
As one of our Heads of Programmes Sarah’s areas of responsibility within SCDC will include CHEX and Participatory Budgeting.
Sarah is also a partner tutor on the Community Education programme at the University of Dundee. Interests outwith work include gardening, playing squash with more enthusiasm than skill, and motorcycle touring (usually as the pillion!)
