Inverclyde workshop on participation requests
/Date: Tuesday 22 May 2018, 10am-1pm (followed by buffet lunch)
Venue: CVS Inverclyde Training Room
Are there things about public services you would like to see delivered better? Do you think you and others in your community could help to improve public services if your ideas were listened to?
Yes? Then join us for this free workshop to hear more about participation requests, a new way for people to have their say about improvements they would like to see made to the public services they use.
Participation requests are part of Scottish Government legislation called the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act.
By making a participation request, a community group can start a discussion about how to improve public services, directly with organisations in charge - such as hospitals, schools and transport providers.
This free workshop for community groups and organisations is a chance to find out more about participation requests, how to make one and what to think about before you do.
Places are limited so please register early here.
More workshops to be announced soon.
