The Place of Kindness
/Carnegie UK Trust seek to improve the lives and wellbeing of people throughout the UK. Particularly those who are disadvantaged.
They goal is to change minds by influencing public policy and change lives through innovative practice and partnerships.
With the support of Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF), over the past nine months Carnegie UK Trust have been working with seven organisations to test what, if anything, could be done to encourage kinder communities, exploring ideas around the importance of places and opportunities to connect, and the intrinsic values underpinning our interactions and relationships.
The results are in and a report by Carnegie Associate Zoë Ferguson has been produced identifying what they have learnt, highlighting powerful examples of where kindness and everyday relationships can affect change and support the wellbeing of individuals and communities. You can hear about some of these in they film.
